On the previous post I had posted the dates wrong...the All-Iowa dates are Sept 11th and 12th.
We will make sandwhiches on Friday night the 10th or Saturday morning the 11th, this will be announced closer to the actual event.
Thanks!-SB

Aug 27 DT Update
Just touching base on a few things:
*We are assigned to work the 2nd concession stand by the wall that backs to the gyms at the ISU volleyball games that AHS is hosting. We need 3-4 girls a time plus one parent to guard the money. We start this on Sept 8th when ISU plays UNI. Judge estimates a big crowd for most of the games similar to last years' home basketball games, so the potential to raise funds is GREAT for us! Please thank him for this opportunity when you see him. There are 11 meets so each girl only needs to work once.
*We also are assigned to Stadium Program sales. We sell programs for .50 before the home football games. I will be contacting your girls to do this task.
*Additionally we clean up after home football games, since there is only 4, we will clean up by classes. The rotation will go: Aug 28th-Freshmen, Sept 11-Seniors, Sept 18th -Juniors, Oct 2nd-Sophomores. If you miss your time you must switch or work another week instead. Cleaning happens at 9am on Saturdays. Bring gloves or ziplock baggies to wear over your hands to pick up yucky stuff. Brooms and dust pans are help-full too.
*Reminder: Sept 12th & 13th is All Iowa DT weekend where you must work on Sat or Sunday, and on Sept 11th at 5 we all come together and assemble the lunches we sell as a fundraiser.
*Reminder that any infraction that is cited per the Ames Police Dept or is self admitted follows the AHS Athletic code of conduct and 25% of the season is sat out by your dancer. Other items will be disciplined by the coaching staff and AHS staff as we see fit. Other disciplines for non-ticketed or self-reported issues include community service, cleaning projects, sitting out of 1 event opposed to 25%, extra projects, etc. Please just be good girls please and thanks! :)
THANKS!
